Meet the Newman’s

We have lived in the village for four years and have always loved The Half Moon, this started as the place for a cheeky date night drink and soon became the place where we made true friendships with many of you. Now this place has become our business but also our home.

We are a family ran business with even our daughter maive having the odd jobs here. (making sure the tables are topped up with fresh beer mats, & the dog treat jar is full ready for our furry friends that visit us)

we strive to put great service at the heart of what we offer here. You can expect a warm welcome and great hospitality.

At the heart of our kitchen is Mother Newman who is an exceptional home baker and all round top chef!
